Darryl Worley | Dan Demay | AJ Masters
ATOM Records & Nashville Yankees present Darryl Worley, Dan Demay and AJ Masters on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at Gilly's in Downtown Dayton. All three artists are based in Nashville. It will be a nice evening of stories and acoustic country music.
Most of you know Darryl Worley. In 2003 he had the number one country single Have You Forgotten? Below is the YouTube link for that songs music video. Darryl has also had several top 40 singles with songs such as If Something Should Happen, A Good Day To Run, Awful - Beautiful Life, I Miss My Friend, Tennessee River Run, Second Wind, I Just Got Back From A War and Family Tree.
Dan Demay is more known as a songwriter. Dan wrote Darryl's song If Something Should Happen and he wrote Cledus T. Judd's song Illegal's (Dan's version is tagged below) and Tracey Lawrence's You Can't Hide Redneck. Dan has great stories and songs.
AJ Masters has released a CD on ATOM Records called Yester Déjà Vu. AJ is a very soulful country artist. He wrote two top ten singles... Faith Hill's Love Ain't Like That and John Berry's Change My Mind. AJ recently had his arrangement of the Everly Brothers song When Will I Be Loved covered by Annie Bosko. AJ and Phil Everly were good friends, prior to Phil passing away this year, and AJ likes to play this song live in honor of his friend. AJ's and Annie's version of When Will I Be Loved is tagged below.
Show time for this concert is 7:30, doors will open at 6:15, with the three artists playing together and performing two 50 minute sets... so it won't be a late night. Seats are General Admission.
